The last deck segment on the Nanay Bridge was lifted into place on the 6th of September 2021, marking a milestone in the run up to completion of the bridge, which is 2.283m long and will finally connect Iquitos with the eastern districts of Loreto.
86% of the works are completed.
The total length of the viaduct includes the cable-stayed bridge (426.30 m), which is over the river, the right bank viaduct (1189.65 m), the left bank viaduct (325.55 m), the access ramp to the right bank (215.50 m) and the access ramp to the left bank (126.50 m). The investment in this work is S / 626.6 million.
Tec Cuatro is part of the JV that is charged with the supervision of the works.
