A new road bridge was inaugurated over Chinchipe river on the 3rd of November 2019 by the President of the Republic of Peru, Mr Martín Vizcarra and the Minister of Transportation and Communications, Mr Edmer Trujillo.

The bridge links the populations in San José de Lourdes and San Ignacio de Cajamarca districts, near the border with Ecuador. It is expected to benefit 12.000 inhabitants, helping in the development of the area and connecting the districts with the rest of the Cajamarca region and the country.

The bridge is a 120m long steel arch and has two lanes.

Tec Cuatro is part of the JV that supervised the works.
